Classical and medieval history

Early Christianity originated in late classical times but did not endure beyond them. The 1st century CE, 2nd century CE, and possibly the 3rd century CE can be connected. It was followed by Catholicism and Orthodoxy by the 4th century CE and 5th century CE.
