There were numerous so far uncategorized events in Western Civilization, among Anglc peoples, and among Anglo-American peoples. The revelations of Edward Snowden were particularly controversial. Among Latin peoples, there were various events among French peoples and Hispanic peoples in July. Political events in Portugal continued across multiple months.

Events among Asiatic peoples have not yet been entirely categorized, and there were numerous developments among Middle Eastern peoples. The president of Egypt was deposed following protests againt him, but his removal led to still more protests. Events in India and Pakistan are not entirely clear.

Political violence in Africa continued.


July 2013

July 1 – Croatia becomes the 28th member of the European Union.[36] July 3 – Amid mass protests across Egypt, President Mohamed Morsi is deposed in a military coup d'état, leading to widespread violence.[37][38]

August 2013
