Like a Tree

As I continue to work through classical history to motivate the development of the knowledge base, there are a few items I can note. For history in general, I am continuing the review of the influence of various nations and peoples on history. I have finished reviews of Asiatic peoples, Western Civilization, and African peoples as far as I have developed them, and I am currently reviewing American Indian peoples.  I am not currently doing anything with the major divisions of history except modern history, which I am taking through a review of the background of earlier periods. Classical and medieval history is being connected. The divisions of modern history are being more directly considered. I am making connections to background for the 17th century. The 18th century is being connected to cities, the 19th century is in the early stages of a review of Western Civilization, and I am taking the 20th century through a review of Asiatic peoples. These

I am taking Sociology in general through a review of classical and medieval history. Peoples of the world are being connected to a few more biographical entries. Nations are being connected to one another. I am connecting American Indian peoples to periods of classical and medieval history.  I am connecting communities to the finer divisions of culture, and taking social mechanics through a review of people.

Institutions are going through a review of classical and medieval history, Religion is being connected to cities, and government to nations.  Economics is being connected to the later centuries of classical and medieval history.

For culture, I am beginning an expanded review of peoples of the world. Anthropology is being connected to more nations, and personal studies are also being connected to nations. Science is being connected to the centuries of classical and medieval history.

Happy New Year!

So it’s been a few weeks since I updated.

For history in general, I have finished a revision and update for Western Civilization. I have rearranged the half dozen subdivisions, in approximately historical order of when they arose, not necessarily according to their modern prominence.   For antiquity, I am collecting cities.  I have about a dozen that date to this period.  Classical and medieval history had a rapid run-through, mostly because its subdivisions are not yet every well connected. I finished a review of modern history, and have just now begun a review of how early history gives important background. The 19th century is being connected to cities. For the 20th century, I have done a review of Western Civilization and I am starting on a review of Asiatic peoples.

For sociology in general I am doing a review of history.  So far, I have not made enough progress in prehistory for this to add much.  For peoples of the world, I am going through a review of culture.  I have been adding communities, which should clear up a couple of areas where I have paused. Social mechanics are being connected to specific cities.

Institutions are nearly done with a basic review: I have connected a few more biographies.
