Back to History

I had a dream that I was working on something history related, so I decided to switch back to it, although with a somewhat different take, although I am going to pay more attention to science.
For history, I am currently most interested in developing early modern history of Western Civilization. I have done a little summarizing of the French wars of religion in the 17th century and the English Civil war in the 18th. In the latest unpublished working draft, I have been extending the divisions of East Slavic peoples, West Slavic peoples, and East Romance peoples to other peoples of the world.
I also note that I had not extended World government to specific nations: I will want to do more of this.

Reinversion

I decided that I had done enough history, and I was going to start work again on the science end of the Knowledge Base. This involves a little resurrection of material that I have in archives, but with more of the history now in place, I can fill in more of the historical background of the various sciences.
I’m trying to put more external links to source material, also. In Mechanics, I have links to English translations of Galileo’s “Discourses and Mathematical Demonstrations” and Newton’s “Mathematical principles of Natural Philosophy”; and I will include more as I can find them.

++++

Still no progress on getting the transcripts to BYU-Idaho. I keep waiting for things to happen, and they aren’t happening: CES Admissions misplaced a transcript they recorded as having received, and Phoenix College apparently never sent the copy I requested to go directly to BYU-Idaho. Grrr.
