The latest version of the Knowledge Base is going much more successfully, I’m still catching up to previous developments, but I have a more intuitive approach to developing it. In the latest pass, I have finally finished a review of history and updated most of the writing, and can get back to the juicier details. For instance, for the late 3rd millennium BC, I am looking at the Old kingdom of Egypt and at Mesopotamia in general as primary centers of cultural development. For further developments, I need to review connections to Turkey, which needs connections to the 20th century, although for the 20th century, I first need to add Germany, which needed an update to the 21st century history of Germany, so that I note Gerhard Schoeder and Angela Merkel as Chancellors.
